    Pritchett Canyon on Outdoor Channel

For those who get it, check out "Ride to Adventure" on Monday Feb 23rd. The BFG Outstanding Trail program for Pritchett Canyon is supposed to air then. This is the email I got from the producer: "Good timing. The shows airs next Monday the 23rd. It airs three times during the day, so...

SB 22 Need some Suggested Changes

I talked to Mike on the phone for a while this evening (Thanks, Mike!). He really needs some ammo to help get this bill changed so we can register our rigs as street legal OHVs. Please, if you or someone you know has registered or attempted to register your rig in this way, call Mike and talk to...

    Archived OHV street use?

Sorry, no such luck. If it is not fully street legal, you run the risk of being pulled over and ticketed. That being said, the LEOs have traditionally been pretty lenient, but they are getting much stricter, especially during EJS.

SB 22 Need some Suggested Changes

Agreed. How 'bout it, USA-All. Show us that you are not just an ATV / Dirt bike group. The 4x4 users need this one, what can you do to help?

    Moab Presidents day

Yeah, turn left on Black Ridge Road, about 10-12 miles south of town. BFE is 2 or 3 miles in, on the left. You can explore some of the area in a fairly mild rig, but most of the trails that branch off are pretty tough. But the trails are all short, so it is easy to check them out on foot if you...

    Moab Trail Conditions???

As of right now, everything is pretty much dry and snow free, but there is a chance of snow / rain over the next few days.

SB 22 Need some Suggested Changes

Mike, I know of probably at least a dozen people here in Moab that would be very interested in being able to register their rigs as a street-legal ATV. Personally, I (and other members of our club) try very hard to meet the intent of the safety inspection laws, and so far we have been able to...

    Coyote Canyon Update

I would like to thank everyone who submitted letters in support of designating Coyote Canyon as a legal 4x4 route. Including the form letter that NORA circulated, I recieved over 210 letters, plus 200+ signatures on a petition that we had at the U4WDA Winter Convention! We submitted all of the...

    D44 ChroMo question

Craig, thanks for the great info. I think I'll pony up the extra bucks and get Superiors for the front. One more question. How do the Dutchman rear axles compare to the Mosers?

SB 22 Need some Suggested Changes

These are the PROPOSED changes? C'mon, how many full sized rigs weigh less than 2200 lbs and have a tire size of 26" or less? We need a law where we could make our jeeps/buggies legal for the same roads as the ATVs. Lights, turn signals, basic safety equipment, mudflaps, even full tire...

    D44 ChroMo question

Thanks guys for the replies. For me, it looks like Mosers in the rear are the best bet. In the front, I am leaning towards Yukons with either the Yukon or Longfield joints. Looking at Bobby Longs test results, I see that the Longfield joint is way stronger than the Yukon, but the Yukon is...
