My buddy and I are planning a trip through goblin valley to cathedral valley March 8-10th. We are going to head down on Thursday to Goblin, spend the night, then start driving Friday morning for Cathedral Valley.

Cool, I'm kind of leaning towards Hema. I like it the best because its easy to download the maps. I tested it out last night. I downloaded the maps, then went for a drive, it was spot on. Everything was working like I was hoping.

Last night, I got it all back installed. And afterward decided I'm going to do a drivetrain lift. I originally did a 2" body lift when I installed the engine and drivetrain. But I want to move the engine up a bit and get things straighter so there isn't any vibration. Sucks but I want it...

Got it out last night. Took about an hour and a half going slow. This transfercase is light compared to the Land Rover cases. So I'll drill out the holes and install helicoils tonight.

I've been on it a few times in Land Rovers. The only thing I had happen was dragging a rear bumper. No big deal. My buddy did it in a nearly stock Land Rover LR3. Just a 2 inch lift and 32s. I've done it in a Range Rover and a Discovery with a 2 inch lift and 33s. No big deal. If you go...

There isn't a gate on it. I went up it a few months ago. I don't know that I would attempt it with any snow or ice on it. There are a lot of steep off camber places. If you screw up you will roll a long ways down the side of the mountain. The trail is also pretty narrow.

I've been doing some research. Looks like a common problem. Damn, annoying. And I hate helicoils. LOL looks like I'll be pulling the t-case and fixing the threads.
