Preparing for a trip to Baja, MX

Sounds like an awesome trip. Can't wait until the kid is a little older and a long trip isn't such a chore. Curious to know the route you end up taking, and what good sights (and gas stations) you end up finding...

Spliced loom and overfilled oil.... Great way to start my first Moab trip!

He asked me, over the phone, if anything else was wrong apart from the loom and overfill. I said "well, it's running really poorly now, but I don't know if that is due to the way in which we fixed the loom to limp us along, or oil getting into places it shouldn't be." And he said the above...

"Well, we don't really know when or how this could have happened, it does have over 200k on it." - Jiffy Lube Regional Manager Sterling Headrick

Were you doing algebra in 3rd grade?

Algebra was 7th grade for me, though I was placed there after the Pre-Algebra teacher though I was bored in class and needed something more challenging. I was, but only because I hated math! It worked out though, got me to like math again and kept at it all the way up through Calculus in high...

Spliced loom and overfilled oil.... Great way to start my first Moab trip!

This is what I'm expecting to happen. I know that they're trying to appease me, get me to take the review down. Even IF I chalk the loom up to age and the "it could have happened anytime" and took it down, I'd keep up the overfill portion. No way around that. The graciousness of RME folk...

Spliced loom and overfilled oil.... Great way to start my first Moab trip!

Just an update -- it took me writing up a negative review on Google for a Regional Manager to call me. The store manager never did. I didn't write the review with malace, it was completely factual without embellishment. Guess they don't like reviews like that. He called me, apologized...

    Exploring the Middle Ground

This. Love watching people's reactions when I roll up after a trail, unbelieving I ran it. Yes, I just ran Old Ward. No, it isn't a jeep. Awesome report. Need to get out more.

I'm not a pro, nor do I work for them, but have you looked on www.crutchfield.com yet? They have an amazing selection, stellar customer service, and a fitmet guide that is top notch. I've done all my audio upgrades myself with their products and help. They have tech/install support an hand...

    New to Utah

Welcome, man! I think a Cherokee is a great way to go if you know what to look for and what to run from. It's a cheap way to get wheeling again, that's for sure.
