I don't know much about propane metering systems or how you tune them, but if you're running it entirely off of propane which has an octane rating of 110, and also using an intercooler, then you could probably run boost in the low teens w/o detonation. 9.7:1 should hardly be an issue, and isn't...

I'm a bit shocked at the list price considering there are no forged parts. It'll still work for low boost though.

If you build the piping yourself you could do it for half that. A turbo is like $300. On most stock motors you can add 50%+ more power no problem.

It all depends, most vehicles can be turbo'd very cheap if that's your goal, they also can be simply 'turned up' if you ever build the motor. My camaro dropped almost 2 full seconds in the 1/4 mile just from a few pounds of boost lol

Noobs want mig welders, cheap mig welders. We here at RME try to steer them into getting 220v migs, some do, some dont.. it's always the same story. If you can afford a 220v mig get it and you will not regret it. some will argue that the "HD" 120v welders work ok for most stuff, anything less...

It was a good entertaining movie. It's one of those movies that seems much better while you're watching it for some reason though, same with the adjustment bureau.

I'd start by testing the resistance of the sensor when the engine is hot and cold, and comparing that to a chart of what it should be. The sensor housing is grounded to the block/head right? this test will help you determine if it has a good ground.

The gas cap lets air in not out. You can't vent hydrocarbons to the atmosphere. As fuel is used a vented gas cap allows this space to be filled with air so the tank doesn't collapse. Pressure should be relieved through the charcoal canister purge soleinoid (if XJ's have one) into the intake...
