    Clayton long arm kits?

Brad and I put Clayton's kit on his grand. It's by far the beefyest kit I've ever seen. If the TJ kit's anything like the ZJ then it's worth the money. The triangulated rear is pretty sweet too. I'm sure you could come look at it sometime if you wanted, it's going to be parked by mepco...

    60 or 9

Yes it is comprable to the 44 in strength, IMO maybe a little stronger, they can be had for cheap too. C-clip isn't such an issue since disc braked 8.8's can be found easily, they're out of newer explorers. Brad (Redrock5.9) and Ijust put one in his grand and it's working great.

    60 or 9

60's stronger but a 9 is strong enough for 35's. Whatever you can get your hands on easiest is what I'd go for. The 9 will have a little better clearance and you have the added convenience of the third member.

    tranny and t-case question

I think there's a torque arm on those, if it's broken, and they do go out often, then you would have plenty of slop. If I remember right they look kinda like a swaybar link.

    t-case experts please chime in

When I replaced the chain in my T-case it didn't have that much play in the chain, just a little but not enough to where you could squeeze the chain in. Also I'm noticing that you have the 4:1 low range in it. Who makes it? Maybe Tera? You might want to look into that and see if it's a...

    Big UROC changes...

You know, I used to work for Ranch and while I don't love the guy and he may be the reason I don't work at Mepco anymore, I don't like to see him ripped on, he has done a lot for the sport. He may be lacking some social skill, but I don't think it's going to affect us very much...

    xj probs... popping noise...help

I call that xj-ness, mine makes those happy little poping noises all the time. I think I read somewhere they're to let you know it's a jeep. On second thought, it sounds like the chain to me, I haven't ever heard a bearing make a poping noise. What's it do around corners?

    Stolen~ '71 Cruiser, $5000 Reward!!

Yeah, I agree, but we've totally hijacked here. I keep seeing red FJ40's, even followed a few, but they don't have the idaho plates or there's something different about them. One thing's for sure though, if it does drive past me I'll catch it, then it's time to release some pressure.

    700R4 to 4L60E conversion

I don't, a friend of mine needs to replace his 700R4 and I can get this one cheap from a guy I just bought an engine from. He'd trade me a snowmobile for it so I'm just checking to see if it'll work. It looksl ike it'd be more work than worth. Thanks for the help though.

    Anyone wheel with Thornbirds?

Haha, here's another, I had 31 T birds, and surprise, they blew. I only ran 12 lbs on the street, sometimes 8 and they still rode like crap. They're so heavy and stiff they're almost useless. They wouldn't countour to the rocks, and they wore down way fast. Also, they caused death wobble too.

    Stolen~ '71 Cruiser, $5000 Reward!!

WildYoats, don't take that personal, I'm not saying that cops are bad, I'm just saying that they've never been able to help me. Had they done their job right we'd probably know who did this to me and I'd have my equipment back. Rather all they did was call me at 5 in the morning and tell me I...
