Do you guys have a loca supplier for the hole saws? I never think far enough ahead, and always end up having to put a project on hold to wait for shipping. If I had a local line, then I'd only lose hours, not days, and I might finish something.
Ive got a few freinds in Arizona and all of them tig weld their caps to the yoke. Every last one of them, D44 and D60s. If I recall correctly, it was "Super Missle Rod" that they used to Tig them on. Most of these guys run 40s, and the terrain down there is insane.
Just FYI... Not sure it...
I've decided when I find a 60 for my project, based on what I've learned from reading these Tacoma threads, I'll build a 60 sized kiddie pool, and filit with PB Blaster and just soak the 60 in it for a month or so.
I was trying to describe this thing to somone over lunch, and the term "buttbuggy" appeared in my vocabulary. Not sure where it came from, but it works for this festering pile.
I am known to wear a tin foil hat, but I kinda get the impression that the 2007 Low Sulfur requirement is the excuse for the price jump, not hte other way around.
Thats almost comical when you think about it...
"We don't want to tell people that we don't have any, so lets just post the price so high that no one will want to buy it."
And Ditto on Dal Saglio location.
that sucks. In SLC Cardwell's bio is consistantly about 10 cents cheaper than normal D. Do they have to do something stupid to bio for winter stability?
Nah.. wasnt betos. I'm not even sure it was in utah. They literally had pictures of how many pennies dimes, nickle etc... Betos isn't that high tech. I think they just train their cashiers to give you .57 cents back no matter what.
In further thought, I remember my buddy who works for a mopar parts store telling me aobut a guy who did high steer on a ZJ by ordering a european right hand drive steering knuckle or something.... might be worth investigating, but I'd bet the Tera knuckle is cheaper. Chrysler tends to be very...
I'm sure it's not cheap, but take a look at this:

I've thought about it, but since I don't have anything in the way, I'm not going to throw money at the 30 and pray to the rock gods to spare the turd that hides under my jeep.
I was in some fast food place a while back that showed pictures of what the change should be on the monitor.
I payed with exact change, and the cashier was really confused.
as I remember the rear end on TJs has a bump stop/spring retainer thing inside the coil like the front does. There shouldn't be any problem running a spacer.
You can buy five sets of pilots from pep boys for the price of one set of piaas... (ok not five, but usually at least three)
You do get what you pay for, but $300 buys a lot of pep boys lights.
My dad flopped the family tow rig saturday. He was doing around 15 MPH on a snowpacked Dirt road, and lost in in a turn. He tried to steer out of it, and ended up going down a hill sideways, and hiting two sage brush bushes almost perfectly spaced to the wheelbase of the dodge that put him...
I had an argument with a woman last week. It took at least five minutes to convince her that I'm not Jeff, and I didn't have the concrete cutting invoice that she was looking for. ???
