TJ grill and hood on a YJ?

Thats a sad attitude lol. nothing is required, just sit at home and eat and poop, think of how much money and time could be saved. I actually made money since i already had the hood/grill from my olllld cj, and i sold the YJ hood/grill for $100. If you're REALLY worried about a few bucks, you...

TJ grill and hood on a YJ?

I put a CJ grill and hood on my YJ. Worked really well. The hood curvature matched the tub and all, just had to thin out the grill first and fab some mounts for the factory radiator and shroud. The CJ has without a doubt, the best looking grill/hood of any jeep. It looked a little wierd with...

Gear Ratio for TJ with 33's

4.88 for sure, especially if you'll ever run 35's or have a 4 cylinder. I have 4:88's in my YJ with 33's and they're perfect. A friend went with 4.56 in his 4.0L TJ on 33's and wished he had gone with 4.88 instead. Also nobody is addressing the fact that fuel consumption is not necissarily RPM...

    Putting together a nasty SBC

The motor is a bone stock high mileage LT1 right now pushing 7psi. Doing an all forged 383, 3.75" crank and 30 over. Lower compression and about 15psi boost :busted: my buddy has an old carbed, n/a 383 in an RX7, just ran a 12.93 at RMR lol

    Putting together a nasty SBC

Yeah single turdbo. lol not at 5000ft it's not, N/A anyways. A 7 liter LS7 (the most powerful motor GM has made) won't even make that at this elevation.
