Not quite garage/shop but kind of related--lamp post/yard art thing

In my opinion, that area is too close to your RV parking. I think anything you put there will be hit eventually. I wouldn’t put anything there

    New Mbryson tow pig...”Sweaty Betty” - 2010 F350 V10

Hey Marc, just so you have an honest comparison. I just towed my 26’ parasail of a trailer 600 miles to the west coast. Going down empty, and a 3000 foot elevation drop, I got 8.5 MPG. Coming back, with a car in the trailer and a 3000 foot climb, I got 8.5 MPG. The 400ish miles in Comiefornia...

    Any roofers here?

Looks more like you need a plumber. Where’s your vent pipe at? Do you have access to the attic in that area?

    There goes the neighborhood...

I agree with what Shawn said (there’s a first), but this isn’t news. SXS’s have been allowed in Grand Canyon NP for years, and Canyonlands has been trying to get approval for the last few years as well. I do believe that they just can’t open them all up though. Places like Yellowstone, Arches...

    Help with my yardscaping plans?

I completely forgot about the Honey Locust. Marc, remember that monster tree in my front yard that kept my entire house shaded and cool? Honey Locust, if you have the room!

    Help with my yardscaping plans?

Marc, it well worth the cost to have the yard including the plants and irrigation designed by a professional. In my case, living the desert now, I had no clue as to which plants would thrive here. I figured probably a dozen or so trees and shrubs would do it. The designer came back with over...

    Traeger select smoker

I have the Traeger Pro Series, and use it 4-5 times a week. The newer digital controls let you cook as slow or as fast as you like. It’s fairly low maintenance, considering how much I use it. I clean the ash out of it every couple of weeks, about 5 minutes with the shop vac. I’ve not had a...

    Asbestos Testing

The ceiling tiles will be a nightmare. You don’t really need to test anything, just assume it has asbestos and play it safe. A garden sprayer with water will keep things save. It’s perfectly fine to dispose of the tiles in the landfill. Everything has to be sealed in plastic trash bags is their...

Searching for my next travel trailer

You were here, and didn’t stop in to say hi? ASS! Just finished up the back yard complete with hookups, all ready for ya. We need to hit Lake Havasu!

    Backyard remodel

I’m convinced there is no such thing as a no maintenance yard. I tried to go as low maintenance as possible, but I’m still out there a couple hours a week. If you’re thinking gravel is the answer, it’s not a bad option. Yes there is still maintenance to be done though. No matter how much weed...

Judging by the fender emblems it’s a 1955 second series - 1957, definitely not a 58-59. If I could see the photo better on my phone I could tell you the exact year.

Delta Classic 2019- Who is going to be there?

I was hoping to swing by Friday and say hi to some of you goofballs. Looks like I’ll be passing by there around 9am, so I doubt I’ll bother stopping in. I couldn’t stay long anyway, I’ll still have the pleasure of passing through Vegas on a holiday weekend ahead of me.

    New Mbryson tow pig...”Sweaty Betty” - 2010 F350 V10

Hey Marc if it makes you feel any better, my last HEAVY load to Az netted me 5.8MPG in my whimpy little small block. The final load next weekend will be equally heavy, but I’m hoping I won’t be in 4WD for 200 miles of it.
