They will fog up again in just a couple of months. Waxing them every couple of weeks can help slow down the fogging

I was just going to reply in your case it’s on the clutch linkage, but it sounds like you’ve found the issue. If it were me I’d just by pass the switch permanently. If other people are driving you Jeep, that’s probably a bad idea though.

What Carl said. I had the same type of failure on an old Ramsey winch. I purchased a cheap round 4 pin trailer wiring connector set, and simply replaced both ends. It worked flawlessly.
