Let me know next time you guys go out. I'd love to tag along. That looks like a lot of fun and I'd like to see how my tires do in the snow. Eric - 208-757-2393

New Helldorado and Hell's Backbone, Delta 6.11.11

Are there varying degrees of difficulty with the trail system down there? Just curious what to prepare for when planning a trip with some friends.

5 mile Night run this week?

Ok, that's fine with me if it works for everyone else. That'll give me a chance to swap out my 39's for my 35's.

5 mile Night run this week?

Nice. Since I'm new in the area I was thinking it would be a good way to get to know people. Anyone have a preference on what day? I'm leaving town thursday night to pit for a race in CO on Saturday so I'm down for mon, tues, wed of this week but if that doesn't work out any time next week works...

5 mile Night run this week?

I live in Sandy and don't get home until 6pm so I could probably make it down to the gas station we met at for the newb run at around 7pm. I've only been out there once so I'm not 100% on how to get there but I think I could probably figure it out.

5 mile Night run this week?

Anyone down for a night run at 5 mile this week? Thinking of heading out with some friends. We're flexible on the date, anytime mon, tues or wed would all probably work. Give me a call or PM me. 208-757-2393 - Eric

New Helldorado and Hell's Backbone, Delta 6.11.11

I'd love to check out this trail sometime. Not sure my truck is up for it yet but I'd really like to know where it is. Looks sweet! Great pics guys, looks like you had a fun time!

    Moab - May 2011

Thanks! My truck does well, it's just much less stable on off camber sections than I would like. It sits 27" to the frame and with narrow Toy axles that can be a bit scary. Looking to knock it down to about 23" and gain and extra 4" in track width and around 6" in wheelbase plus more flex...

    Moab - May 2011

Went to Moab in early May and just never got around to making a trip report. We were rained on for most of the week and so with the exception of the first day or two we had rain and mud to deal with. It's amazing how difficult certain obstacles in Moab become with a little rain. Pritchett...

    Hydro-Assist ????

There's still return to center, it's just sluggish and a little delayed. I agree, my truck drives MUCH nicer with the hydro assist than without it.

    Rescue Needed Sat 5/24

Glad we could help. Next time please try getting stuck a little further in the boonies! I'm glad we took Rich's truck instead of my toyota, it would have a been one bumpy ride out in my junk.

    Rescue Needed Sat 5/24

I may be able to help but I've got a lightweight rig and a winch plate that isn't exactly braced well for this kind of abuse. It really does sound like it's going to take a lot to get it out. If it's on the frame nothing is moving it unless we can get it up and off. Edit: I'd feel a whole lot...

    Help Needed Parts in Moab

This is a double post in the Chit Chat section as well. I was just approached by a jeeper with a blown up dana 300 and a TH350 asking if I knew anywhere to get used parts. Apparently all the places here in Moab are $$$. Anyone have a 28 spline rear output for a dana 300 and or a TH350 for...

    Electronics Stuff Locally

Also, I just used this calculator. http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/led_resistor_calculator.php I went off of 14.4 since that's the most that it should put out but I like the current regulator idea as long as it's not super expensive.

Ok, so since my LED's are roughly 10V and I want to drive them anywhere from 800ma to 1amp you think the LM317 is the best bet in an automotive system? So correct me if I'm wrong but the LM317 will provide a constant current regardless of the voltage? That sounds like it would work great. Now I...

    Electronics Stuff Locally

Yep, I'm shooting for right about 1amp to the LED. I'm not very well versed in this whole electrical thing. I've made a 600 lumen 3D mag lite but that's the extent of my experience (and I had instructions for that :D). In an automotive system what would the benefit be to using a current...
