Go with the YJ, better (fuel injected) engine and it's nice to be able to lock your vehicle from time to time. For what it's worth the CJ5 looks stock to me, later model CJ5's didn't have tailgates.

It means the outer edge of the bumper. Cut it short, toss on a exhaust tip for safety inspection.

If you're getting that much movement, that hole is all sorts of buggered up. You could source a new rod end that would accommodate a larger diameter mounting bolt, then drill out the frame mount. Or you can use that same size rod end, and weld a washer on each side of the mount so it can't move...

Marc, maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't had any of the top issues that you're experiencing. Maybe try a little silicone spray on the seals would quiet things down? I can't help you on the leaks, since I've not had any. The hardtops are kind of a POS because of their lack of insulation. If you...
