Dana 44 axles with 19 Spline

I always say go with Detroit, east, strong, and care free....put in a short wheelbase cj5 with a manual trans, any of the automatic lockers can be a handful to handle....All the horror stories you hear, I think come from cj5owners....Still not a bad option, but it is one of a few times I would...

1992 Fullsize ford bronco rear ends

There is a fulsize Bronco forum, those guys know a lot more than I do, But I believe if it has a VSS, and a digi speedo, you need to keep them. The comp uses that signal for the motor....

Dana 44 axles with 19 Spline

Seems like the 44's you have would be the perfect choice. Those should work up to 35's. Any bigger and you are looking at 60's. 44's are very upgradeable, but be warned, if you get to the point that you are upgrading 44's to run 38+ tires, your money is better spent on 60's. JMHO:D

    Ring and Pinion

There are ratio splits on most carries....9", toys, other drop out styles do not. But Your Dana axle do. So yes, you want to consider ration before you buy a locker. It is better to get the macthed carrier and ratio. Thick gears are not a problem, but you will be limitted in ratios avalaible...

1992 Fullsize ford bronco rear ends

Yes, no, maybe;) Should be an 8.8. (very very slight chance of a 9") No abs or digi speedo= put what ever you want in it....9" from an older Bronco is easy. If it has ABS or the electric/digi speedo, you have to have a rearend with a tone wheel and VSS on it. So you are kinda stuck...
