This is Ollie!!!! I say BAM, Smack, Crack.... Those small pinions make me nervious!! Like Carl said the are built strong, but the ones I have seen broke, are from shock load....If I had to guess, I would say it is from the pinion flexing, due to the undercut....looked like the head snapped...
