    re-packing your R+P :)

Keeping the pinion bearings lubricated is the biggest problem. BTW, I'm doing a knuckle rebuild only. The customer will be coming to pick up the housing and he will be cleaning it. :D

    re-packing your R+P :)

So, when you remove a 3rd member or the cover of your Dana axle, you expect to encounter gear oil, right? Of course, the R+P, carrier and pinion bearings, etc. need to be lubricated. OK, so we've heard stories of people forgetting to fill their diffs w/ fluid and burn stuff up, but have you...

What Do You Guys Think About This Early Bronco?

'ol TEAM FRED (aka Carl) knows Broncos and competes in one. I wouldn't hesitate buying a used rig from him if you're in the market. :)

    4.88's versus 5.29's

Here's the run-down... 5.71's are EVIL no matter the quality or brand. 5.29's are perfect for 35's on the road (with 36's or 37's, it's still OK). 4.88's are fine if you have the Toy V6 (but I'd still recommend the 5.29's). Or, the 4.88's would be great if you had a Chevy 4.3. Bottom...

    Alright, what's it gonna be??

The answer to the first question is yes. :) The guy who sold the fender to Muleskinner didn't want the money and wanted it returned or something, or thats how I heard the story. Yes, a vacation would be nice... :D

Anti squat how much do you have?

OK, so back to the cat... His name was Hershel, and he eventually got ran over, but before that he functioned quite well. Anywho, I think the bacon I was giving him was the problem. If I remember correctly, he had like 100% anti squat, or so it seemed. :)

    tube rear and street legal?

"Specific" questions/answers about alot of these issues just don't exist, thats the problem. Sure, tire coverage, mud flaps, bumper/tail light/license plate specs are all there, but they aren't going to cover whether or not a certain sheet metal/tubing configuration is acceptable. I'm by no...

    tube rear and street legal?

We are infact working on our "parts runner" Toyota pickup and the bed has been removed, replaced with tubing. However, it has been designed to be "legal", meaning that there will be proper tire coverage and mudflaps.
