    D35 vs. D44

Runn 32's or 33's and maybe a lunch box locker until it breaks, and then go from there....A 60 is a smart choice. I just hate to see people spend money on an 8.8/44/whatever and end up with a 60 in the end anyway....Just skip the middle man and make the jump. The $$$$ are high, but trust a guy...

    D35 vs. D44

Where do you even get an idea like that? Ever look at a 9" housing? The center section tapers out further than any other stock axle. the tubes are pressed and then not only plug welded (all that is done on any of the other axle discussed here) but then they are welded all the way around the tube...

    First Tow with the PSD....

See, evem Hickey says so:p But be careful once the r's get up there you kinda don't notice picking up speed and soon you are bouncing the needle off the peg:eek2: (MPH, not r's. The ecm will not let you run the rpm too high. After Peak it starts to defuel the injectors and with any load at...

    First Tow with the PSD....

The SD forum is a lot worse then the OBS forums....Us poor guys are nicer to each other:D A lot of the stuff there applys to you 7.3 as well. The downpipe is a biggy, and the cat;) . Call and chat with Bean or Dale(Tymar). Both are very cool and willing to talk with you to figure out what is...

    First Tow with the PSD....

First get some air in it and the exhaust out....VERY important on the PSD Second and mild chip or flip chip does wonders for both power and milage. I like the flip chip because you can get and econ, tow and fun burn....and you can switch on the fly. No upload/download BS. (my chip has 6 econ...

    D35 vs. D44

And:confused: Cclips ONLY come in a semi-float axle! (OK a few highly specialized FF double spline shafts, but I bet no one here has seen or heard of one of those) The shafts bolt to the wheel hub on a full-float and the wheel hubs are held in place by the bearings and spindle nuts....no need...

    D35 vs. D44

What???? Sorry I will STRONGLY have to disagree with you here an 8.8 is no where near as strong as a 9". It seem rediculous to even have to debate this. I ran 35's on a 28 spline 9" for years. I only had problems with running 37's in comps! Now it is a 35sp 9" with 38's, and I beat it HARD with...

    Radio commercial

Nope Simmons Media Group Station.... I hate the comercial too!!!! But, I am all for standing up for a cause, but if I stopped listen to, shopping at, going to any place/company/whatever that I disagreed with politically, I would not be able to leave the home...

XJ Steering U-joints: Greasable vs non...?

Non-greasable....Should be able to find them at napa (perfect circle is spicer) or any # of places....Or just go over to the motor pool guys with some beer. They are the same joint as a half or 3/4 ton truck, or a hummer:greg:

XJ Steering U-joints: Greasable vs non...?

Go to sixstates and get the spicer ones (that is what was OE) should be a 5-760x for yours. Non servicable, but that is what I would suggest....cheap checker/AZ/pepboys joints....you get what you pay for!! Opps, just noticed you were in GA. Look for a local Dana/Spicer dealer....
