AL hitches look preeeetty. Till they get stuck. I leave my hitch on all the time. Helps me get into the back of my truck. My steel triple ball hitch makes a nice step when it's upside down.

Nope broke some toes so I can't ride for a few more weeks.

Still plan in to be there with the kids. Should arrive about 10am. Where are we meeting up? And who is still planning to be there? Also. Currently trying to stab this carrier back in and weld up some limit straps. Hopefully the roads clear up. I'm not a huge fan of trailering in blizzards...

Alright this is odd. The desk at Six States said "run it, I wouldn't even replace the cross shaft." What are your thoughts? They said the the spiders aren't even that tight of clearance on a new shaft.

Thanks! Normally I'd be all over it. I'm not after the world's best finish on this panel because it wouldn't match the rest of the truck lol. I really think I just fouled up -thinking if I pointed the heater towards the panel it would cure faster. I thought it was far enough away... Evidently...

Really I just use 100% cotton thin sweatshirts. They're like $15 online, so I don't feel bad when I wreck them. I had a leather apron for welding while sitting at the shop and I liked it, but I almost never get to weld in a comfortable position.

Six States got my Eaton LS rebuild kit. I chose the 14 disc carbon fiber clutch pack made by Eaton over the Yukon part, and I think the springs I have are 400lb. The cross shaft retainer bolt was rounded. So out comes the welder and a sacrificial 5/16" socket. the clutch pack wasn't worn...

Glass and shaping done. The horizontal body line was tricky to work back in, but I think I was successful. And I accidentally tagged my finger with the sander while working the glass. Pain. Paint and clear. Unfortunately it's so cold I have to run an electric heater in my painting area and...

I prefer flip flops and nylon basketball shorts and a tank top jersey. My chest hair protects me from weld slag.
