    thoughts?

I operate and build large natural gas fired engines for a living, but I’ll admit I know nothing about the automotive side of it. With that in mind, I can see some flaws in your calculations, as well as having some questions of my own. Your figure for CNG seems low considering there is about...

    Extreme Scrambler Makeover

You're gonna play hell getting that thing safety inspected the way it is. You sure you want to go even wider?? Not that I mind. The wider you are, the less Rocky Mountain pin striping I get. :D Hey, tell russ I'd be happy to get that old red junker out of his hair so you have more working...

    Who mounts your beadlocks?

I do mine as well. I've got one of those el cheapo Harbor Freight mounters that works wonders on them. You're welcome to use it if you like. You'll also find an air ratchet is a blessing.

    Builing the YJ, need opinions!!!

You've got a pretty nice set up now, cept for that engine. That would be number one on my swap list, and a small block chebby and auto trans would be my choice.

    Cool Keeper ?

This is a very old practice known as Loadshedding. It's been around forever, but is just starting to hit the residential customer. Steve is correct, it's all about investment in infrastructure and your savings will be minimal if any at all. The infrastructure issue isn't so much about...

    Lets Talk Air

My personal preferences for on board air systems would be as follows: 1: Kilby. Probably the very best system on the market. 2: Junkyard parts to mimic kilby. Great system and fairly cheap, but a lot of work. 3: A quality electric powered system. I went with the Viair 550C due to...

    Buying a truck on Ebay

I just put $1900 into repairs on my 07 Dodge (37,000 mi.). Great engine, too bad the rest of the truck is built so poorly. It really doesn't matter on the make, every truck has it's weak points.

    Any concrete guys here?

You got off cheap. I've poured 12 yards this summer for more RV parking using the U-Cart method. $125 a yard (the 2 yard tumbler carts are pretty sweet). But, if you factor in the cost of a pump, it's really sixes. Not to mention, pouring and finishing two yards at a time by myself is enough...
