I'm partial to the Cannondale Prophet MX meself. Bike can be configured for XC by swapping in a 3-sprocket crankset/derailleur and changing the head angle.

I was having to replace MAFs every 3 months at ~$100 a pop, otherwise the car didn't have enough power to climb Parley's in fifth. Shitty Bosch electronics. I'd like another TDI for the fuel economy but I've been burned bad enough that I will never own another VW if they paid me.

It was a 2003. I had it for 14 months before it was totalled and I don't recall a single day of owning it that didn't involve some problem. VWs are really hit or miss, my neighbor had a TDI and loved it.

My Jetta TDI was, hands down, the worst car I have ever owned. When it has hit and totalled I couldn't have been happier. Here's hoping you don't see the same electrical/mechanical/interior/transmission problems I did. There's a write-up out there for modifying the vent on the fuel tank to...

I use Verizon, it's OK but I get low signal in unusual parts of the valley, such as parts of Murray and Holladay. I can still send and receive calls most of the time. Nothing beats the coverage I used to have with AT&T though, that service would work up the canyons long after friend's phones...

I liked it, but there were enough useless subplots that could have been removed to cut it down to 2 hours without detracting from the storyline.
