The problem is that it's hard to understand your attitude and inflection, when you're typing things. Joking around is totally diffrent online, than it is in person. Whoever reads what you've written can take it as they want to. Thats where the problem starts.
I have no problem with giving each other crap, but you have to think about how someone else may take it and be careful.
