So our first comp this year in AZ and first time in pro mod was rough. We rolled twice. Once the first day without any significant damage. Ended the first day 17 point behind 1st.
First course of the first day on the first gate we rolled. It broke the winch control box which then pushed into the radiator putting a large hole in it. On the recovery it landed hard on a rock and broke a rear link joint. The Pinion then rotated and broke the rear driveline.
Fortunately we have incredible sponsors that helped get a lot taken care of.
Adams Driveshaft got the broken part repaired then made us new front and rear Drivelines. Old ones will be spares.
Warn sent us a new control box.
Summit Machince sent us a new joint to replace the one that broke.
ORI also rebuilt a strut that had extra tension on it when the pinion rotated up.
I replaced the radiator and re-mounted it further back and on a slight angle. The roll also took out our front fiberglass grill so we had one cut out of aluminum and I mounted it up. We are going to powder coat it Orange to match the wheels.
Also broke a headlight so I order a new set and mounted them back up.
The hood was also dented and bent up so I straightened it best I could and cut some off and changed how it mounted in the front.
We also finally got our 300 m BRANIK Legacy shafts so now we can get more steering. I had to Re-drill my Artec mounts but more steering was accomplished. Not sure we're we are at now but I'd say 45+ degrees. Much more and we will be rubbing on our lower control arms. Can't wait to take it out and test it this week and next.
