Haven't updated this for awhile. Got a few things I am working on and will update the progress.

Added some tantrum lights. Here is a pic from this summer while camping.

Been working on putting in a compressor and air tank.
Goodbye ABS, in place a compressor mount. I did drill a hole in a wrong spot. Not the first time either.

I still want that truck soooooooo bad

You and me both. Lewis did an awesome job with that rig. I spotted him at Smiths fueling up a while back and I couldn't believe how nice that rig is in person. Took me a while to realize who he was I was too busy staring at the rig. I wanted to trade my leaky tow rig for it.

On a rear air bag setup. Could you hard mount the bag to the axle, then when flexed have the bag drop out of the upper mount to allow the droop?

Similar idea as having the upper end of the air bag mounted to the bottom of a air bump, but longer travel.

Unfortuantely we are currently getting along ( the truck and I ) so its not going anywhere for now.

Never thought of that. Might need to do this after adding my fuel can+ its protective mount and the rear tire mount I am making = the rear is going to be saggy.
Is there anything you can't do with a rig like this?! :D

It's been awhile Lewis we should head to the Swell or something again
Ya buddy. I need to get back down there.

It would get dirty though. ;)

Ive been planning on putting a single bag, in the rear.
right in the center, on top of my link tower. I had planned on doing something like chevycrew mentioned. hard mounting the bag at just one end.

It was nice to meet you today Lewis.

I LOVE your truck man. You've done a great job! That's one of the best looking toys I've ever seen. Keep up the good work!

After researching and looking at some older dual diaphragm setups, i figured out how to get the dual diaphragm booster into my 2002 tacoma.

Stock single diaphragm power brake booster

The stock linkage, some of the parts aren't completely put back together, just put it back up to take a pic. I removed the bottom link and used the stock pin with the spring attached.

Dual diaprhagm ready to go in. I took off the stock dual diaphragm fitting since it was too large and screwed on the stock single booster fitting until it wouln't go on anymore.
I also had to add a few washers on the bottom (I used 3 to about 3/16"-1/4" thick) so that it would line up with the hole and slide straight. I tried it without washers and it worked but I could tell it was binding slightly.Only downside is it doesn't seal against the firewall all the way. Might need to come up with a way to make it seal if it begins to leak or the road noise is too much.

Here is the linkage all setup.

Dual diaphragm booster with a t100 1-1/16" bore 1 ton MC. My goal is to get some better pressure to the brakes so that they will work better. Using the T100 mc allows me to use my stock brake lines and keep the sensor that tells me if my brake fluid is low.

Seems to work just fine as far as pushing the pedal in and out. I still need to hook up the lines and fill to test it out.

What does the dual diaphragm booster do for you? More assist?

Does 2 things. It will supposedly shorten the length I need to push the pedal to get the same amount of stopping power. The biggest reason was that I will be able to upgrade to a larger MC. I should have mentioned that in my original post. I also installed a t100 1-1/16" bore 1 ton master cylinder. This hopefully will make it so I don't have to push my pedal all the way to the floor before I get any brakes.

I bought a scepter fuel can since this truck seems to only get around 11mpg (tested before the deck plate mod and before tuning the 7th injector so it may get better now).
I needed a place to put it but am limited on space. I came up with the idea to put it where the stock spare tire used to be. I didn't want to have to climb under there to get the fuel can out when I needed it. So I decided to make a basket to hold the fuel can and then have it swing out where I could easily access it and then just push it back up to lock into place. After bending the basket and dimpling it I made a frame for it to put under the truck. I also have added an air tank and a compressor to my truck so I got my hands on an air ram that will release the the tank. It took a little tinkering to get the basket to sit in the frame in the up position to be solid but I feel pretty comfortable about it holding up to the rough roads.

Next is to paint it then to mount the frame onto the truck frame. I also need to figure out how to reduce its weight since it is too heavy for what it is.

The basket in the down position. The front is held tight with de-sta-co latch. The front is hinged to open for access the can.
