Lesbaru cheated us with the Brat redeux.
Dang, that’s like the Wish .com version of “Don’t waste Utah”. 😎
when I look at this picture I start looking around for Russians parachuting down around me! That's RED DAWN material.

My nephew is 17 and can have about any car he wants. He’s been driving a Tacoma, but recently decided he’s a car guy. Now he’s driving a Chevy Sonic. I had to revoke his dads man card.Oh, I know. He has plenty of 'Merican cars as well. But in addition to learning the make and model, he's also learning which ones are cool and desirable. So if he grabs say a '68 Chevy Camero and a '94 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, he learns that the 3000GT is the fun, exciting car.
You've really got to get this stuff in their head when they're young otherwise they'll end up making poor life decision later and buying things like Pontiac Bonneville's and wearing white New Balances. Can't have that!
Is it at least a Sonic RS Turbo? I drove a Holden Barina (the Aussie version) around New South Wales for a week once. With the manual, it was spunky enough for a little econo-box. I always thought the RS would make a decent autocrosser, a lower cost alternative to a Ford Fiesta ST.My nephew is 17 and can have about any car he wants. Looking forward to seeing you guys out at more events. We are going to have a great year.My daughter has been putting in lots of hard work on the bike lately. This weekend she raced a Grand Prix in mesquite.
She finished 1st in girls (12-16) then raced again for the first time in the woman’s class (C) and got another 1st place.

She checked off a personal goal of hitting a big step up jump that they use to launch bikes from the motocross track out into the desert. Not too many mini bikes are hitting that jump so it was pretty awesome to see her go for it. (Even though it ended up in a splatter 😆)
First pic for scale of the hill/jump

After the race we went to the UMORA 2023 season awards banquet. Even though she attended very few UMORA races last year we were shocked to find out she still ended up 2nd overall in girls 12-16. This lit a fire in her to hit more of these races and get that jacket next year.

My son signed for track with UVU. They posted this on their instagram. Awesome to see so much hard work pay off and awesome to not have to pay for college 😎
Thanks! He has grown a lot and works his butt off each day before and after school. Between track and academics he will make money while going to school. He will defer for a mission and UVU committed to 5 years of school paid for after he gets home to take into account his redshirt year. It is likely he will be able to graduate with his masters degree all for free!!! We are excited he decided on a place so close to home.WOW!!!! I'm sure I've not seem him for 6-8 years!!!! Congrats to all!
My oldest son and his wife welcomed their first child today making me a Grandpa. It's exciting to watch kids grow, mature, and experience life in real ways!
