but on a liter note I gave up my sausage biscuit from Mcd's every morning for a red delicious apple! and I do feel better during the day!

Ya, I know they are good but they are also far from good for you.

I have one of these...

http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=604592&CCAID=FROOGLE604592

I buy english muffins, fat free american cheese singles (fat free american singles, just like I like my women), and egg beaters. It's like 150 calories and hits the same spot. I've been known to get wild and microwave up some turkey-bacon and put a piece on their.

Plus, that useful gizmo will hard or soft boil eggs, bastes normal eggs, etc. It's pretty handy and makes a mean late night drunken egg sandwhich.

I am so buying one of those and bringing it to work. That's such a great light meal!

I was doing this for a couple of weeks and noticed some major changes. I'm going to have to start that back up again.

Anyone else want to join in with me? Here's a couple of cool websites:

http://www.pushupslogger.com/
http://www.hundredpushups.com/

Anyone down for throwing some money in a pot to see who the first one to get to 100 push ups is? I'd be willing to throw in a $20. Think... If we got 10 people to participate that's $200 for the winner. That means that when I win I can get me some sliders for the XJ.

I'll try it. I bet I can get to 100 before you, and take your money :D

Cody,
We have had one of those for about 2 yrs now... they are great!!! course the GF likes to put the precooked sausage patties in there on top of the egg so you get the sausage, egg and cheese on a english muffin... but I like your ingredients better!!!

I think I'll play some basketball for an hour or two tommorow that should do it.

Whew I made it. All it took was a couple of days in Moab running around spotting people. I'm at 176.5 now.

I'm in for the push-up challenge:) I can do 75 now and I only do them once or twice a week.

So I've been doing my push ups lately. I'm not sore anymore and I feel better already. My goal is to do 1000 push ups by the end of the week. I've also been eating a little better. Didn't have any fast food last week. I also found these really cool "Ready to Serve!" rice bowls from Minute Rice. They're little cups of brown rice and all you have to do is pull the top off and nuke them for 60 seconds. I mixed a cup with a can of tuna and some tequila lime salsa this morning. I know, it sounds disgusting, but it's actually rather tasty.

I weighed in this morning.

I'm down ten pounds. I've lost two belt notches, and everything seems to fit looser. I keep having to up the intensity of my workouts to maintain my desired heartrate, and I've doubled the amount of time I spend in the gym each morning.
So far so good.

Are they just plain rice, or do they have ones with things in them?

I usually cook 3-4 days worth of instant brown rice :)rofl:) and store it in the fridge usinig 0.5-0.75 cups a day for lunch. But if those rice bowls have other things in them, they might be better.

I am down 15, but thats after a gain of about 7-8 My wife just had a baby and the last few weeks before I was running around and not eating very well. It always amazes me how much good food for you will help in how you feel. My friend does the zone diet, it works for him, I am taking the concept and just finding out where my "zone" is. I really need to workout, mostly my pecks and love handles. Any body know of a workout that really works the back love handles(for lack of better anatomy knowledge)?

I don't know if I am allowed into the "Weight Losers" club but I have the opposite problem. I need to gain weight, however, I'm looking to gain the "good" weight. Muscle mass and whatnot. So, here it is:

Age: 23
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 155
Goal: 175-180

For those looking to "get in shape", I did the Body-for-Life program and lost 25lbs, 10% body fat, and all the extra chub floating around my mid-section. I've always been somewhat of a hard-gainer but when my metabolism slowed down but my diet didn't change I started get fat yet I still "only" weighed 180. Now I'm trying to get back up to that weight only this time have the 180lbs look good. Take it for what its worth.

That's what I want to do as soon as lose 10-15lbs. However, I go back and forth all the time, so I never know what I am doing. I think I have enough (or little) fat that if I get a bit more muscle, I won't look too bad. Plus it's winter so no real reason to be super slim.

I've love to be ~220 and maybe 10% BF or so.
