I only got about 10% done of what I wanted to tonight. Oh well. Tranny tunnel is covered with metal, no gaping holes staring down at my tranny, driveshaft, and t-case. Hopefully that helps keep some of the heat out.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to peel n seal for heat, or herculine for moisture.

I wish I knew where my camera is so I could take some pictures for you all. Looks like I have my work cut out for me tomorrow: rear shock mounts (for the 3rd time), front bump stops, fender trim, seat install, seatbelt install, then we'll see what I have time for after that. I'd LOVE to get my sliders on tomorrow night, just because it scares me to wheel it without any body mounts in front of the seat.

Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm going to build them tomorrow like you recommended. I found my camera, so you'll all have pics tomorrow.

I get the camera back tonight after work. I'll get you some pictures sparcitus. Or you could wait 'till tomorrow morning and see it in person :D (assuming I get everything done I need to tonight).

If anyone is bored tonight, hit me up and help me get my sliders on.

to-do for tonight:

- Front fender trim
- Rear shock mounts
- Front bump stops
- DS Seat install
- DS seatbelt install
- Sliders. I've gotta get these done. I will need help though. Any volunteers? They're going to be easy: 1/4" 2x4x6' with 3 to 4 legs. The tough part will be welding the rocker panels to them (sheet metal to 1/4" should be interesting) , but I can handle that on my own later tonight.

I tried to do slides on my own yesterday didn't end up doing them

Well, you can head on down tonight and we can help each other out. You and your wife can spend the night if you'd like. We've got some spare bedrooms, then you won't have to wake up at 6AM tomorrow.

Thanks Eric. I know you would. My truck won't be nearly where I want it to be tomorrow, but I'll at least have a driver's seat and seatbelts in it (assuming I get that done in the next hour). WIsh I could have got to the bumpstops and fender trimming, but that'll have to wait for another day.

absolutely amazing. I can't believe how capable my rig is. Radiator rapids was 10x easier than last time I did it (granted it didn't have snow all over it this time).
