Well Austin has been gone too damn long and we want to wheel this thing sooner than later so i am finishing up and getting it ready to paint when he comes home in a few weeks.
I found me a 17year old kid named Kevin that wants to learn to fab and weld so he has been over the last few months doing all my slave work.
I would probably just wait for Austin to come home but this kid wants something to do so we tore into Austins buggy. The only thing we really have to do fab wise is the skids. The chassis needs finished welded and chromed up for paint, and finished torn down. We spent about 45min the other week and had the axles out and it upside down. Kevin has spent a few days finish welding out the bottom. I told him as long as his welds are better than Austins, which aint hard to do
then there wont be any problems. I drew up and cut out most the skid parts today.
Kevin welding away.
