With the rekluse I have found that first is great most of the time. Sometimes it is too low but second it too high and occasionally first is too high. I plan to drop a tooth on the countershaft to fix both of these conditions. When do you want to ride the berg? I really need to get out......
Right now.

Report from yesterdays Book Cliffs ride.... We met in Fruita for breakfast, then rode up Hay Canyon, followed the ridge line East to the San Arroyo radio towers and then made our way towards Atchee Ridge Rd and down Rector Ridge, then back South over Baxter Pass. Did almost 200 miles, about 90% in the dirt. We explored the Book Cliffs, checked out the Rubidoux engraving from 1837 and some much older pictographs. We had 2 KTM Adventures (John and myself), 1 BMW GS 1200 (Noel), a DR650 (Mark L) and a KLR (Mark S) along for the ride. There were some pretty rough sections for the big bikes, but we all made it thru... mostly unscathed. The weather was great, LOTS of dust and silt on the roads, some water crossings and plenty of sliding around! My favorite part was pulling wheelies off the water berms at 40 mph, side by side, with Mark on the KLR!
