You're gonna love those annular cutters. I use the hell out of mine and they make short work of cutting perfectly round holes.

It's so f'ing clean!
With that brake, would you ever be able to put enough force on it to move the stand around? Or will it be stable even if you're bending thick-ish sheet? On Saturday morning I completed the stand for my 24” DiAcro finger brake as well as got it bolted together and leveled in position.
With the purpose of this stand to not only be functional but also inexpensive by only utilizing materials I had on hand, I was originally going to use some 1"x .095” DOM tubing but after digging around some more I found some 1” angle iron that I thought would be perfect to span across the legs as well as provide a ledge for an expanded metal shelf eventually.
I measured from the hole center to the inside edge of the vertical legs then subtracted from the 36” bolt hole pattern and cut two lengths in which to weld in place about 12” down from the top. This will allow easy access to the shelf and still allow me to get a broom underneath for sweeping.
Clamped in place for test fitting before welding.
Feet bead blasted and painted with Rustoleum Hammered Silver which has pretty much been my theme color in my shop.
Stand wiped down, painted and sitting in the sun to dry.
Feet installed and roughly adjusted. Ready to bolt the brake in place.
In place and leveled.
A few last shots of machinery row with everything in its final resting place for the foreseeable future.
Next time I order material I’ll get a small piece of expanded metal for the shelf.
Thanks for looking.

Those photos of your clean, organized shop make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And insanely jealous.
...I can't seem to work in chaos. It makes my head hurt.
Finally a skill I can say I'm better at than Mike! I practice chaos a lot because I'm too lazy to clean my shop.
Just save enough $ for fuel.......Now we're cooking with beans, been stimulating the economy and draining my bank account.

So I was way off, building itself is pretty tall, ceiling height is about 11 feetOut of curiosity, how tall are your ceilings, 12ft? Just wondering how you manage with your hoists?
Not sure what you used to clean the brass but I have found a few hours of soaking in ammonia does a great job.Saturday I had a “hey man” project to work on. A friend of mine dropped off the carburetor from his Yamaha YFZ450 on Friday night. I generally don’t work on powersports equipment any more these days but this is a friend whom I’ve built many snowmobiles and ATV’s for over the years when I had my business so I told him to bring it by and I’d take a look at it for him.
Disassembled.
Nasty looking inside. Jets plugged up as well. No wonder why it wouldn’t run.
After removing from carb cleaner.
Ready for reassembly.
Another project completed and ready to be picked up.
