Well... I could, the cage I have now is not all that special. I would like to tie it all into the frame as well. or at least some of it. Still, valid idea.

I am in the middle of stretching my Cj5 to a Cj6. I am thinking that I will not want to use my old cage, and would like to build a new one to fit right. Any one have a tube bender they could let me use? Or make some bends for me? Let me know what you think, any other ideas appreciated.

Good Idea I dont really care for hard tops, so I guess I thought I could just add some to a soft top to make fit. Who needs a top any way?

I am extending my frame, and thought I might extend my Tub to match. Any one done this? Or have links, info on such a project? I have a 76 cj5. thinking of adding 12 inches into the tub. Thanks for any help or info on this!

Thanks, but I do not have a pipe bender otherwise I would get crazy with it and tube out the whole rear! I am going to construct it with 2x4x3/16.

Outboard Fo Shore!! I would do the outboard, get rid of that D30, and put something nice and big under there!!

I am extending my rear wheel base about 18 inches(go ahead laugh). I want to build the rear frame to do this. Has anyone built a frame? My main question is how do I do the Bends, where the axle is?

Not fitting It looks like the bolt is supposed to go past the flat part? I might be able to pound it on there, did not try THAT hard. how do you like yours? Is that what you did? Once I get it on, how do I make sure everthing lines up straight?

Tried that I tried that and no go. the FSJ box has a flat part on the male part with teeth?? That the couple goes on to. I have both a manual and power steering shaft off CJ, neither will work?

Has anyone used a FSJ box on their CJ? I have a box out of a 84 FSJ Wagoneer. The coupler is different than the CJ and I can not figure out how to make it work. Any ideas, suggestions, whatever. Should I even use this thing or sell it and get a CJ box?

d300` put the dana 300 in for sure. I have one I am putting on my CJ. I will be lincoln locking it!!
