I have a Detroit in my D70 rear and a Lockright in my front D60. They both work great. I used to run Detroits front and rear in my stock Toyota axles before I went to the 1-tons...I broke a couple of birfields and ended up destroying my front Detroit. If you're concerned at all about breaking...
My rear Dana 70HD came with a 1410 yoke on it...I ended up selling it on eBay because I replaced it with a Toyota Flange. My D70 was from an '89 Chevy V3500 1-ton. Beauty of these yokes if you can find them is that they fit a D60 or D70.
Just curious, did anyone contact any of the media about the recovery? I know they probably won't cover it, but maybe it's worth a shot. Anyone got any friends in the media that believe in telling the whole story?
I've got an 04.5 Dodge 2500 Longbed with the auto. I change my oil every 5K miles. Change the fuel filter every 15K or so. I have an edge juice chip with the attitude monitor on it. I almost never even come close to 1250 degrees on my EGT's. I towed a 13K pound mini-excavator with it up Spanish...
We got to live in Moab for about 8 months in 2004-5 while I built the new Zions Bank there. We thought the elementary school was pretty good - class sizes were quite a bit smaller than South Jordan, but they were a little behind in curriculum levels - our kids had a little catching up to do when...
Yep, Olly is at the one on 78th and Redwood.
I had a similar experience to alot of others it sounds like with a desktop that I took in to have repaired. Took 8 or 9 times for them (not Olly) to get it through their heads that I would rather spend $200 to fix it than $1400 for a new one.
I've been wondering about a CNG conversion as well. If I could find a conversion kit for $1500 I might just give it a shot. If my math is right, at a cost of $.68/gallon for CNG vs. $3.50/gallon for Gas on an SUV that averages 15 mpg you would recoup the $1500 cost for the conversion in 7,978...
Kick his a$$ and take the power cord out of the computer. Sorry, I don't know how to fix her administrator rights, but the real problem stems from a lack of respect from her son. If my son did that he would no longer have access to a computer in my home.
Definitely give Carl a call. I had him install some lockers in my D60/D70 axles and check the gears at the same time. He did a fantastic job. He will treat you right!
Only gripe I have about ATV's/Motorcycles/etc. is that lately on the trails that I have been on in Moab a majority of the tracks going off of the trail are from ATV's and motorcycles. Not saying that RC's don't, but I sure wish that the ATV/motorcycle crowd would stay on the trails. Seems like...
Yep, that is a good suggestion. We tried to do that the other night but the PD was already closed. Hoping to try again in the next day or so. Thanks for all the advice...I think we are on the right track.
I had the thought about cameras last night. I'm thinking I might mount some on the corners of my house facing their driveway and doors. Will probably piss them off, but maybe they'll think twice about doing their deals there.
Cool, thanks Tacoma. Jinx and I (he and I live kitty corner from each other) were talking about the Neighborhood Watch thing tonight. Might not help a ton, but we figure if we all start calling the cops every time the punks are loitering/blasting their car stereos/etc. that maybe eventually they...
