Rear lockrite isn't engaging passenger side. Haven't pulled the cover yet, but that's generally a bad sign. I'm really curious to see why (guessing bent housing). In the meantime, I need to look at options: replace with D35, upgrade to 8.8, upgrade to?? Swap in other lockrite and hope to get...

Turned out to be the spider gears. Anyone have a 10 bolt open diff from '90 or '91, or can tell me if the cross-shaft spiders are the same in the 28 and 30 spline version? (obviously the side gear spiders are different)

Still have the axles? Other than adapter u-joint, what else will it take to install in a blazer? Driveshaft mod? Different master cylinder?

For '90 or '91 10-bolt? You'll save me a drive to Clearfield if you do. I guess year doesn't matter...30 spline 10-bolt is what's important.

What spline, 28 or 30? Apparently they made a switch in '89 from 28 spline to 30 spline. I don't know what year my axles are, so I picked up a 28 spline long side last night, and I'm still looking for a 30 spline long side. Brett
