led blinkers stay on but wont flash

An electronic flasher or a resistor of a value that mimics the circuits current draw will fix it.

    93 YJ Build

It opens up a huge can of worms. What about the trans? AX-5 isnt compatible with anything and it won't last behind anything stronger than a blender.

    LT1 swap??

Just got 21mpg highway w/o the turbo on, which is pretty good considering my motor is low compression (9.1:1) and I was driving 75mph and it's an auto trans. It'll gain a couple mpg with the turbo back on. Around town is usually somewhere around 16mpg.

    LT1 swap??

It's all in the heads... You might have a hard time getting over 450 engine hp unless the stock heads are ported extremely well and the cam matches.

    LT1 swap??

I've been extremely active in the LT1 community for the past 3-4 years and I did very extensive research when I built my motor. The LT1 manifold is not the bottleneck and actually does very well, nobody replaces them. The LT4 intkae differences are very minimal. The main thing people change is...

    LT1 swap??

Yeah, right after I had it blasted and powdercoated I found a red CNC ported LT4 intake and ended up using that on my build instead, so now it must go.

    LT1 swap??

Nothing, it's just a radiator and 2 (or just 1) PCM controlled cooling fans. You need to buy an LT1 intake manifold you say? lol buy the one I just so happen to be selling :D http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/showthread.php?t=794673

    8v Cold Start Issue

But if the thermostat is closed, isn't the coolant in the block is trapped there and is going to heat up regardless of whats going on elsewhere? The coolant in the radiator is already at ambient temp, it can't get too much colder with the same temp air blowing over it. If the OP's sami has an...

    mass airflow sensor?

It sounds like yours is the spring loaded vane style. They typically put out a 0-5volt signal. The new toyota style is a hot wire MAF sensor, they usually put out a frequency, so they're not interchangable. You'd need to fine tune the MAF tables in the tuning using a wideband o2 sensor if you...

    LT1 swap??

I like the idea... As for axle strength power isn't the major concern. Tire size/weight, and hopping vehicles are what break axles. My turbo 383 LT1 in my daily driver 95 Camaro is currently making around 650hp (still working out some power issues), and it has the stock 10bolt axle . Here's my...

Jeep 4 cyl. engines any good?

Ive had my 2.5L YJ for several years now, 33"s and 4.88s gets 18mpg city. It's too much work to try and hold 70+mph on the freeway. Fun to drive around town and crawls great though. Test drive a couple good 4cyl and 6cyl wanglers and compare them yourself.

    Brightest/best headlight bulbs

You may have missed the point. HID's should have a beam cutoff like pictured below. HID's in halogen housings won't have a sharp beam cutoff, and flood light into oncoming traffic; so it's not just a simple re-aiming fix. Feel free to post a wall beamshot picture of your headlights. I do...

    mpg meter

? I disagree completely. A different cam can change the manners of the engine entirely. Forged pistons/bottom end are used solely to increase the power capability of the motor, isn't that like the dictionary definition of a motor thats been 'built' to handle more power?
