I need to replace my shocks...suggestions

Your truck lifted? Ive got a full set of Procomp ES9000s that fit an F350, but theyre for a 4-5" lift. Also got some Rancho 5000s that may work, application guide says they fit Ford truck for your year, but the F150 and F250, welcome to come see if they will fit or not.

    Thoughts on this '74 bronco?

Those yellow springs make me think they are superlift springs, i would ditch them, stick to the Bronco vendor supplied springs only like BCBroncos or Wildhorses. Power brakes is easy, but will cost almost $400 for the bracket and booster. Looks like hes got alot of extra goodies on there that...

    engine swapping

I think the 5.0 or the 350 are going to be the best bang for the buck. The 4.7 and the 5.3 are going to cost you over $1k just for the motor. You can generally find tbi 350s and SEFI 5.0s for around $500. And theres plenty of aftermarket support for swapping and modding both those motors.

What Do You Guys Think About This Early Bronco?

www.Broncofix.com is about the best forum out there for EBs. For some reason though the mailing list is more popular then the forum. I hated having 30 emails in my inbox every morning though from the Mailing list. Also check out www.bcbroncos.com they have some cool EB stuff but a little high on...

What Do You Guys Think About This Early Bronco?

76 and 77 are the best years for Broncos as far as options go. Check for rust in the floor pans, door posts, rocker panels, and the cowl under the hood. Im not to fond of James Duffs stuff, i stick mainly to Wildhorses parts. Price is pretty good, especially for a 76. I have a few parts laying...

    Power Steering Squeal

ATF is prone to hardening Seals and Orings in a power steering box. There arent any Orings and seals in a Automatic Transmission?

    Bolt Pattern question

Ive got some rims that are 16x8 5x135mm bolt pattern, what pattern is 5x135 in standard? I tried putting them on my EB but they would fit so theyre not 5x5.5" a chart says Expedition and F150, what size are they?

    Anyone wheel with Thornbirds?

I have some 35x14.5x15 Thornbirds and was going to run them on my EB, but have decided against it since so many people say they blow nuts. Ill probably just sell them.

Where to get gear install kit - locally?

I needed one for my EB and went to 4 Wheel parts wholesalers just to see what they ran and i ended up buying the kit because its the cheapest ive seen it, i think it was $69 for mine. Summit racing wants like $85. If you tell them your poor they will knock %10 off, they did for me :D

    Temperature Guages

I have a VDO oil Temp gauge, anyone ever mounted a sender for one of these? I dont know where to plug it into, im hoping my drain plug is the same thread as the adapter fitting since i have 2 drain plugs anyway (dual sump pan).

    over heating

You could try retarding your timing a couple degrees and see if that stops the pinging, but i agree to get better gas as well.

    NPS, Found something usefull

Just found out the tank isnt really a homemade tank, its from a reputable Early Bronco custom parts manufacturer called BC Broncos, you can see it here if you want. BCBroncos Ive got to call them up and see if they can send me the mounting hardware for the tank. A $310 tank for $80 isnt bad...

    NPS, Found something usefull

Ha thanks. That was quick, i need to learn that formula. Its probably a hair less since where the sender is its recessed along the whole tank but i didnt want to make the drawing overly complex. 23 gallons is what the Aftermarket tanks are though. Thanks again.

    NPS, Found something usefull

Went there on Friday to see what they had, a lot of crap, as most of you know they sort of suck now and you have to be lucky to find anything good. Well i found someones homemade gas tank for an Early Bronco with the sender unit, internally baffled, and has a return bung for when i go EFI. At...

    Anti-friction spring pad stuff

I had to rebuild a set of National Springs and called them up and they sent me out some, i think they were like .25 cents apeice. They claim they're "teflon pads" but they look like peices of plastic to me.
