I use POR15, it works well on frames or other rusty metal. The only metal that I have had trouble with is new metal. I have the metal prep and cleaners but the POR still doesn't seem to stick well to the new stuff.

You can't see it in the picture but they both had wrenches and were trying to take off loose lugnuts and valve stems. Luckily they didn't manage to take off the stems.

I'm in the middle of putting coils and long arms under my old commando and since the frames are meant for leafs stock tj coils work great. You can come by and see how I've done the suspension if you want.

Watch out for Grand Cherokee 4.0s 99 or newer, the mounts for everything are different. The newer TJ motors also have different mounts for the stuff up front. I know that a 99 TJ motor will swap into an xj but I'm not quite sure when they changed the mounts for PS alternator etc.
