Anti Wrap Bar for early 80's Toyotas

Here's a pic of one I built. Since I made it out of shop scraps it aint purdy, but it worked well. I used old CJ spring hangers and a shackle so replacement bushings would be easy to get, but I never did need to replace any. http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=45725

Not a problem Chad, back to the scrap pile for this stuff. Didn't make a whole lot of sense to drive clear over here fo a couple bucks worth of scrap anyways. That's a hella nice set up! Looks kinda out of place in that Jeep though. :D

    Shifter Extensions

Ok, I'm pretty sure I'll have both. The nuts won't be the blingy chrome you're looking for though, you'll have to settle for plain old zinc plated. I might have some 1/2" stainless round bar though, if you feel the need for shine... :D

Would a couple two footers work? I can see what I've got in the scrap pile tomorrow. Also, if you know what thread coupling nuts you're looking for, I can see what I have laying around there too.

A long nut would also be refered to as a coupling nut ;). Try bolt and nut supply, or hit the truck stops. F'n J on 21 so and 9th west, or Sapps on 13th and 215.

    GM's Eaton Rearends

Can't give you exact numbers, but the ring and pinion are huge. The weak link in stock form is the axle spline is very coarse. I'd guess something like 12.

ah well, you get what you pay for I guess.

Tacoma, you're more than welcome to use my engine stand if you want to come grab it.... And if you run into trouble building that engine, I just happen to know someone who builds engines for a living. ;)

    Wheeling dilemma

Glad to see I'm not the only one in this boat. Not a trip goes by that I don't miss the old beater, but times have changed for me. Every outting now involves two little munchkins sitting in the back seat. The extra room and creature comforts of the LJ make it pleasureable for all of us...

    Ever clean out your garage...

Wow, almost makes me want to clean out my garage....... Well, almost. I'm actually in the same boat as GIJOHN. My wife gets out there in one of her cleaning frenzies, and I spend the next month trying to find all my cherished crap again.

Good point Marc, because that which you created will soon have total control over both you and Angie. (did that get things back on track?)

So im doing 60 down the road and hit a bump...

All I can say is you're damn lucky you were driving a Chevy....... Imagine that happening at 80mph in a Ford??? :D That does suck, and you know I'm a Chebby guy at heart.

Red Mountain trail in Vernal 6/30. Anyone done it?

It's been a while for me as well, but if memory serves me correctly I'd rate the majority of the trail in the 4 range. Most all of the real fun stuff pictured in that old write up is optional. Allow yourself plenty of time because there's a ton of things to play on. Carl, wasn't that the...

    4th OF July

Ya know, if you're going to have a little shin dig at your place, Magna Park has a pretty decent fireworks show as well. Not to mention the rides for the kiddies and such, and not near the crowds or traffic headaches as Liberty or the baseball parks.
