Little progress today

Got the winch mount in. I decided rather than move the grille in for a better approach angle to just move the winch back

Okay, am I the only one who caught this? Better approach angle?! Really?! Isn't it already over 90 degrees? With 54" tires, an approach angle over 90 degrees and you were thinking you were wanting more?! Holy crap brother. Where does it end for you? LOL.

The problem was...

where I had the grille set, If I would have put the winch in front of it, It would barely have been a 90. If not a little overhang.

I wanted to move the grille back but it would have meant starting all over on the hood mount and I couldnt think of a good way to do it other than the way it is so this was the solution.

I am planning on some sort of a extremely tight and small stinger just to tie everything in to the grille bar. So that is going to cut into my approach angle as well.

I am sure I don't need to tell you but, I am very, very jealous of the work you are doing. It struck me the other day when I was reading about all the builds going on just how very talented everyone is on this board. Cheston, Mitch, and Leroy, I could only hope to have the talents some day that y'all have now. Keep up the great work!

I would love to see Cheston and Leroy build a high end hot rod. The attention to detail is second to none with these fellas. I am really excited to see the work up close in Moab this easter. Great job fellas and keep up the great work!

I believe the buggy you are seeing in the background belongs to Leroy Latham. You may remember seeing it compete in the Top Truck Challenge in 2009. He calls it the Monster Buggy. I believe they are working out of Mr. Lathams shop.
