    First build.

Honestly I did that cause I had a long left over piece of tube after cutting the b pillar and one of the side hoops out of a 20 foot stick. Cut the piece in half and that's where they ended up. I plan to tie that section in with the door way and the door way to the stinger. like in this picture.

oh ok. I figured you only needed a couple more, not sure why i figured that. But i don't blame you, much easier to buy if the price is no biggy.

I'm all over hell on this build, but here are some pics of the driver side floor frame. still need to add some gussets on the inside and another brace up front. passenger side will be the exact same just a little shorter for transfercase clearance.

Another small update. Clocked the 300 above the frame and chopped off half of the original shifter mount for room with the T-18. So dark in my damn garage you can't even see my frame in this pic. Looks kinda funny. but it works. I'm thinking maybe sometime during this build I will fix...

    First build.

just a change on the rear shackle mount. cut 6" off the frame and built a new simple bumper and made new shackle brackets. my old ones looked kinda scary. and yes, after all these months i'm still working on the same rear suspension. I got my clocking ring yesterday so i will be starting on...

ok Tacoma your really still talking about this. they even quit on pirate. And i'm sure most people, with the opportunity I had would have done the same thing. They are some funny ass people on there.. I'm not sure if you knew that lady or not, guessing probably not. but if so, like i...

also about the Mexican comments. I completely respect them as i would anyone else. I work with 10 i am the only white guy there. They are the coolest people I have ever met and are actually great welders. well a couple of them are just learning. I try to help them along the way. I just forget I...

    lets see some welds.

i'm pretty sure there is a journeyman welder on here somewhere. not really asking to be taught how to weld. just like the looks of welds. i know it's weird but welding fascinates me. the world could not run without it. I am all up for hearing tips and tricks on welding if anyone has any though...

    lets see some welds.

i'm done discussing it on pirate. and this is the last i am saying anything about it. i said some lady looked like sasquatch about three months ago. forgot about it. that has been the only thing i have done to be an asshole besides mock the guys on pirate. Three months and they are still crying...

    lets see some welds.

Actually i really don't care to impress anyone. I do not think that is the best weld. The best I have done maybe. Not even close to the best weld out there. that's what I was going for. I want to see some welds that a lifelong experienced welder has done. I see **** welds all day or night at my...

    lets see some welds.

Well my first pass i did a triangle pattern. burning straight into the root right above my two paused stops which created my puddles. then instantly straight back down pausing on each side making sure i have more time on the sides then the center to keep it flat. Second and third pass are just...

    1999 Dodge dakota

well i'm finally getting rid of the piece of **** c-clip chrysler 8.25 and i'm going to put a shitty c-clip chrysler 9.25 instead. at least it's stronger. it is cheaper than paying to rebuild the 8.25 too. should be straight bolt in. just have too make my own shock mounts on the axle tubing.
