Rear bumper swing out tire carrier build

A good angle grinder and cutoff wheels would easily replace the need for a chopsaw for a project like this.

    power inverter in my rig?

Keep in mind most inverters won't run lots of things such as higly inductive loads (some motors, transformers, microwaves, etc.). Mirror laws

Steering--How are heims for the street?

I run a heim tierod on my YJ. The heims are 3/4" and they lasted about 3 or 4 years. Without a boot to keep out dust or grease to prevent wear I wouldn't expect them to last vey long.

    AC repair question(s)

A/C isn't necissarily difficult it just has to be done right. Basically replace the required parts and the cheap standard ones while you're in there... orifice tube/thermal expansion valve, receiver/dryer, compressor if bad, leaking lines whatver. Use new and appropriate o-rings (not rubber)...

Soak it in PB blaster, come back in 5 minutes and the bushing will be waiting for you on the workbench. *disclaimer, this most likely entirely untrue. no but srsly, rubber has incredible grip until its loobed.
