Hmmm... so where did you come across a low mileage Sami motor w/ fuel injection? ;) Congrats on the new motor... :greg:

Spy Pics of Vonski's 4 seater buggy

Yeah, it started to become quite the joke. I've been threatening to build something for like 5 years now. :p I'm glad it's happening now instead of when I first started aquiring parts. You remember the Mog axles, TBI 350, NP205, and other miscellaneous parts I had set aside over the years...

Spy Pics of Vonski's 4 seater buggy

Thats not a stupid question at all... Strength is one, but chassis built entirely out of tubing can easily be built tough enough (or tougher) than you would need for a buggy like this. Of course, a well thought out design and excecution are important in the whole scheme of things too. The...

Definitely, and luckily we've got the most "time consuming" things already done.

Yup, it happens every year it seems. One way or another, we find a way to get 'em done. :)

 Thanks man... BTW, the fuel cell is an aluminum RCI type, but we removed the mounting tabs and added thicker angle material the whole length of both sides. Yeah, nothing sucks more than a split fuel cell. :(

Good eye man... Upon original mock-up in that pic, you're exactly right. After some re-adjusting, we were back on track with good angles again. :)

    First Tow with the PSD....

I have a '99 with 6-speed too, but it has been straight-piped. To answer your question about a chip and spinning your stock clutch, it WILL and how... I have been happy with the rig in basically stock form until I got a killer deal on an Edge Evolution programmer. The previous owner replaced...

    Toytoa High Steering

Nope. Your stock box is designed for "push/pull" steering. As you probably know, an IFS style box is the easiest and most cost efficient way to go. Just remember to plate both sides of the frame. I'd recommend sleeving the bolt holes as well. When you're done, don't toss your stock box...

    rebuilding a Saginaw steering box???

Hey Tacoma, If you want to know what parts are interchangeable, how to reverse direction, or change the number of turns lock to lock, give Me a call...

    Suspension Question

Ahem... I'm looking at a pair of 16" 2.5's right now. They've been kickin' around a bit with no suitable rig to use them on, so a good deal could be found in these I'm thinking. :)

What mileage is too high for a diesel?

On a somewhat related topic... If considering a rig from down south, you've got more to worry about now. The market may soon be flooded (get it? :p ) with reconditioned vehicles caught in the hurricane affected areas. A matter of fact, you may find one in Utah that was just relocated simply...

Von Werretts 1988 Toyota Pickup (Late Fall 2002 Featured Rig)

Thanks! Even though I sold it 2 years ago, I still miss the 'ol girl and wouldn't mind building another one similar to it.

    unibody cracks!!!!!???? HEEELP!

Hmmm... depending on the condition and the amount of money/upgrades done to the Toyota pickup, that could be a great option. I have owned and built both of these types of rigs for myself, but my XJ (which I still own) has serious limits in comparison to the Toyota pickup I once had. All of...

    triangle 2 link

Yup, that would be Bryson's Sami. For any info on this type of suspension, feel free to contact Me through PM or at the shop. Personally, I prefer a double triangulated 4 link design better, but the "2 link" (if thats what we're calling it) can be a cost effective alternative.

YJ steering box porting for Ram Assist

You've got the right idea by NOT porting the top and end cap. Drilling/tapping the housing itself is the way to go. I have tapped more P/S boxes than anyone I know in the area, so let Me know if you need help. BTW, many of the boxes produced in the last few production years of the YJ have...

Hapland! The game you'll love to hate.

Woohoo! I solved Hapland 2, finally! However, I broke down and took 1 hint from Carl, but only to blow up the door (which ended up being one of the less complex parts, but oh well). Now I need to determine whether I'm extremely smart for solving it, or extremely dumb for spending the time...
